OUR VISION
Uecker Schultz was formed to address a clear need in the market. As individuals who worked for very large firms, we witnessed a clear gravitation of services towards clients who generated the highest revenue. Businesses needing fewer services or hours did not generate enough revenue to be kept as clients; therefore were charged premiums to stay.
This is where we come in. John and Don each have over 20 years experience working in both public accounting and private industry. We have worked for some of the largest firms in the US as well as some very large, multinational corporations. We are able to leverage this experience and serve clients with a fee structure that is fair and reasonable.
Everybody needs tax help, whether it is an annual return or a one time need. You could go to a big firm, but you will get overcharged. JOHN UECKER
CPA

John is one of the founding members of Uecker Schultz, LLC. He has over 20 years of experience working with businesses to provide solutions in the areas of taxation, accounting, cash management and financial reporting.
John began his career at one of the “Big 4” accounting firms before working with mid and large-sized businesses. During that time he performed various roles within the tax and treasury functions for corporations, S-corporations and partnerships. providing not only tax compliance, but also practical tax planning services to maximize cash flow.
John is a member of both the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). John received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
DON SCHULTZ
CPA
Don is one of the founding members of Uecker Schultz, LLC. He has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and businesses, assisting with both tax compliance and tax planning.
​
He started his career at one of the “Big 4” accounting firms before moving on to a large regional firm, where he focused on real estate and large restaurant clients. Don then spent 11 years working at one of the largest restaurant franchisees in the US, where he built the tax department from the ground up. Don left in 2017 to become self-employed full-time before co-founding Uecker Schultz.
Don received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Masters of Accountancy with a tax emphasis from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys fishing, hiking, spending time with family, and watching Wisconsin sports.
